Today, our story features Yuka, a 26-year-old office worker. Please listen. Yuka is 26 years old. She works at a company every day. She is an office worker. She is busy every day. She gets up early every morning and takes the train to work. One day, Yuka felt sluggish and had a slight sore throat in the morning. She thought, "I might have caught a cold." But she decided to go to work anyway. When she arrived at work, her colleague Satoko looked at her and said, "Yuka, you don't look well. Are you okay?" "Hmm, I think I might have caught a cold. My throat hurts," Yuka replied. Satoko said with concern, "In that case, you should go home early today. Your health is the most important thing." Yuka said, "Thank you. But I have a lot of work, so I have to do my best today." By early afternoon, Yuka's condition worsened. She seemed to have developed a fever and her head felt fuzzy. Yuka decided to leave work early after all. She told her boss, "I'm sorry, I'm not feeling well today, so I'd like to go home early." Her boss kindly said, "I understand. Take care." When she got home, Yuka took some medicine right away. Then she drank plenty of water and slept soundly. Everyone, please take care of yourselves and watch out for colds. When you have a cold, the best thing to do is to rest well.
