नीलमाधवः

भारतस्य पूर्वतटे 'जगन्नाथपुरी' नाम महत् पवित्रं क्षेत्रमस्ति इति तु वयं जानीमः एव ।  राजा इन्द्रद्युम्नः एव तस्य मन्दिरस्य निर्माणं कृतवान् । जगन्नाथस्य मूर्तिः नेत्रमात्रयुक्ता अस्ति । किमर्थं हस्तपादविरहिता मस्तकयुक्ता मूर्तिः तत्र दृश्यते इति जानन्ति वा ? सा मूर्तिः अधुना अपि भक्तान् 'यः प्रभुकार्यं कर्तुम् इच्छति, सः अहङ्कारं त्यजेत् एव' इति उपदिशति । एवं किमर्थम् इति सर्वम् इमां स्वारस्यकारीं कथां श्रुत्वा जानन्तु ।(“केन्द्रीयसंस्कृतविश्वविद्यालयस्य अष्टादशीयोजनान्तर्गततया एतासां कथानां ध्वनिप्रक्षेपणं क्रियते”)On the eastern coast of India lies the sacred site known as 'Jagannath Puri', a place well known to many.
