Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time Year C

As Christians we live in hope and faith, holding on with confidence on things we have not seen. Hence, a patient waiting becomes as it were part of a Christian’s DNA and through it he is changed and transformed. We consider the leaders, fathers and mothers of faith who lived and died in faith without having received the fulfilment of God’s promises, but yet through the eyes of faith believed and embraced the promises from afar. As we await the fulfilment of God’s promises, may we be watchful in prayer, having our prayer candles lit and ready for the one who comes to fulfil his promises at the appointed time of visitation.
