Most of all he is a proud father of three boys, and loving husband to an incredible wife.  Jim is a Career Lieutenant with Evesham Fire Rescue where he has served for 11 years. After being promoted in 2021 Lieut Hiesler served as CO of Station D Platoon  and is currently assigned to station 1, the “Main St Militia”. He has been proudly representing them as their CO since January of this year.  Jim is also Proud Veteran of the Global War on Terrorism. He faithfully served back to back tours in Syria and western Iraq - the “triangle of death”. He is still a Combat Medic in the US Army Reserves.  Beyond being a self-proclaimed "Nerd" of all things Fire & Human Performance, Jim is a CPSE credentialed Fire Officer and published Firehouse magazine author. Jim has also recently started Mission First Training LLC, which aims to provide real-world, hands on training in a variety of buildings slated for demolition.
