Chief Anthony Avillo  Deputy Chief Anthony Avillo retired in 2015 from THE North Hudson Regional Fire & Rescue, after over 30 years on the line.  In addition to North Hudson Fire, Chief Avillo has taught at the Bergen County Fire Academy, FDIC, and most recently served as Director of the Monmouth County Fire Academy. Chief Avillo is also a partner in Study Group, Inc., a business that helps firefighters and officers of career departments prepare for promotional exams.  Chief Avillo has a Master’s Degree in National Security Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science from the New Jersey City University, where he is also an Adjunct Professor in their Fire Science Program. Anthony has also authored and published several texts that are currently used in academic curriculums and for promotional exams.  Outside of the fire service, Chief Avillo is an avid music lover and loving father.www.ChiefAvillo.com
