No complaining!

from Hope when there was none Hosted by Melinda Kunst

Here is #selflovechallengeday19 and this one may be hard. Try to go 24 hours without "complaining". This means no: "I can't believe she/he is being a total @ss! " "How come there are no more cashiers available?!", "Nothing good ever happens to me!" "Why is this day going so dang slow?!" You get the picture? Complaining is negative energy that you are putting out into the world and in your own space that negativity takes a LOT of physical energy. Give thought to what you are really feel or is there a specific reason other besides the negative you are focusing on? As an example, are you hangry? Is something in your life stressing you out and you are lashing out at others? Living in the present and even throwing in a dash of gratitude can really give you a positive perspective. Try not to create connections built on complaining. Maybe that friend at work starts in about the workload or the cranky boss. Try not to chime in or think of something positive to counter that. We should strive to form friendships based on positive things. This is a good time to note if your friends and family seem to complain quite a lot. Ask yourself, "How do I feel after being with them?" This isn't to say that you shouldn't vent but what is it about that circumstance is in your control to change? Or can you be mindful of the words you speak before you say them?
