No Holidays for the Politically Depressed

While MOMocrats Karoli and Donna Schwartz Mills were enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday with their families, the folks in Trump Tower were busy interviewing candidates for cabinet positions. And the people announced so far have done the impossible: Made Mitt Romney look our best hope for a sanity at the Department of State (we will all forget his gaffes in Britain in 2012). So far, we have an Attorney General nominee who doesn't believe in civil rights... a leader of Health and Human Services who is not only the author of all those repeal Obamacare bills - he wants to gut Medicare, too...and a pick for transportation secretary whose family owns a shipping business - and she just happens to be married to Mitch McConnell (and McConnell says he won't recuse himself at her Senate hearing. If the President-Elect doesn't care about conflicts of interest, why should Mitch?) And before you can say "bottom of the barrel" - Trump also met yesterday with Dan Quayle. It's enough to make you forget about all the crazy tweets about recounts and flag burnings... but Karoli and Donna will try to remember.
