from Billified: The Bill Moran Podcast · host Bill Moran

Bill tells Dan there almost was not a pod today because Bill's Mom was in the ER all night. Bill woke up to a text that came in at 12:38 AM telling him that she was feeling numbness in her face and out of concern was checked out. Bill said his Mother is 76 and any concern should not be taken lightly. His mother had a lot of test done and the end results are positive, she is home and has a helpful plan. Bill said when he talked to her throughout the day she would start speculating what may be wrong and Bill asked, why go worst case scenario? He then sarcastically said why don't you just look at Web MD? She said I have been trying to! Bill said No Web MD! He thinks it is the worst because most people who read it have no medical education and experience and it is always doomsday! Nill said just becuase you watched 40 episode of Grey's Anatomy does not mean you can interpret Web MD. Dan tells us the surprising news that Nick Saban the Head Football Coach at Alabama University is retiring! Bill and Dan then discuss the NFL coaching openings including the Seattle Seahawks, who have "promoted" Head Coach Pete Carroll to an advisory role. Bill reads what ESPN's Pat McAfee said about Aarron Rodgers after it was announced that Rodgers will no be on the show the rest of the year and McAfee said he is relieved. This leads to Dan's thoughts on ESPN and Bill pushes back asking where he is getting his information, including the fact that Dan says it was everywhere that Jimmy Kimmel was n the Epstein list. Bill thinks FS1 is doing a better job then ESPN, Dan agrees, but is not a fan of all the FS1 personalites. St. John Fisher University will add NCAA Mens and Womens Hockey in the fall of 2025! Steve Ball of the band the Dawgs comes by to promote some upcoming events. The Dawgs take no money and only play for charities to help them raise money, Steve talks Bill into emceeing an event on February 2nd benefitting Autism Up. Bill saw a gas tank on the side of the road, but believes it had to have fallen off a scrap truck! However, aren't you amazed at the number of car parts you see along major highways in the Winter?!
