In Luke 1, the angel Gabriel visited the virgin, Mary and announced to her that she was going to conceive and give birth to the Son of the Most High.  Mary was perplexed and asked Gabriel how could it possibly be, becasue she was a virgin.  Gabriel explained to her that she would conceive supernaturally. He also informed her that her relative, Elizabeth, who could not have children, and was past the age of childbearing, was six months pregnant.  Gabriel's last words to her before he left was, "No word from God will ever fail."
