一の谷（上）

「一の谷嫩軍記」通称「一の谷」は、宝暦元年（1751年）12月に上演された、並木宗輔作の「一谷嫩軍記」須磨の浦組打の段を新内に写したものです。都から落ちのびて一の谷の戦いに敗れた平敦盛は、須磨の浦から船で逃げようとしますが、その海岸で、熊谷次郎直実に打たれてしまいます。敦盛を組み敷いた熊谷が、敦盛と我が子、小次郎を重ね合わせ、首をはねるのを躊躇する場面がとても印象的です。元のお話しは「平家物語」巻第九 一の谷・敦盛最後です。 参考文献：国立国会図書館デジタルコレクション／個人資料 [新内稽古本]一谷組討段 上：近八郎右衛門, 1886 [DOI]10.11501/856639 富本及新内全集（日本音曲全集 / 中内蝶二, 田村西男編）日本音曲全集刊行會, 1928.2 第2版
