Last October I attended Small Business BC’s networking event at The Anvil Centre in New Westminster BC. I was very happy to meet Suzanne Ja-bour.   Suzanne’s son passed away in September of 2020. Through her grieving  she  has found meaning in her loss by providing grief education. Sharing how grief really works and how we can support people experiencing it. She works with organizations and businesses to build the skills and protocols to better support people who are grieving at work. Suzanne is available as a speaker to share her story and help normalize grief as a healthy response to losses big and small. She has a Bachelor of Arts  and Bachelor of Education from UBC and decades of experience as a trainer. She is a certified Grief Educator from David Kessler Grief Educator Training , Transformational Coach and Workshop Leader with Training from The Institute for Women Centred Coaching, Training & Leadership.When talking with Suzanne I found her to be very approachable, knowledgable & passionate about grief education.
