You will hear a play dramatizing the story of Samson from the Old Testament, written by Norman Corwin. Norman was a writer, screenwriter, producer, essayist and teacher of journalism and writing. His earliest and biggest successes were in the writing and directing of radio drama during the 1930's and 1940's. The play Samson is from his Old Testament Trilogy. Samson was a lot like us. Norman Corwin chose a good story to dramatize. We need to listen to the story of Samson. Like him, sometimes we deal with the wrong people, and then we are betrayed. We can cause things upon ourselves through lust. Samson had been more than once brought into mischief and danger by the love of women according to the book of Judges chapter 14 and chapter 16.
