Notre Dame football is making another defensive coaching change this offseason as Len Clark reports.Linebackers coach Al Washington is leaving Notre Dame to join the Miami Dolphins. Washington was promoted earlier this month after serving as Notre Dame’s defensive line coach and will now make the jump to the NFL. The move follows another recent departure, with defensive backs coach Mike Mickens leaving for the Baltimore Ravens. Notre Dame now turns its attention to filling yet another key defensive position with the start of spring practice just a few weeks away.
