Notre Dame is adding NFL coaching experience to its defensive front as Len Clark reports.Charlie Partridge is the new Defensive Line Coach for the Irish. Partridge arrives after two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, where his defensive line units ranked among the NFL’s best against the run and in takeaways. A nearly 30-year coaching veteran, Partridge has developed elite defensive linemen at Pittsburgh, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Florida Atlantic, and in the NFL. Head coach Marcus Freeman says Partridge’s proven track record and familiarity with defensive coordinator Chris Ash will be valuable to the Irish defense moving forward.
