Notre Dame Report - Sat. Dec. 6th
from Notre Dame Football on Network Indiana & Indiana Sports Talk Hosted by Len Clark, PhD
Notre Dame’s path to the 12-team College Football Playoff now comes down to championship weekend as Len Clark explains. OK, here the football calculus of what needs to happen. At 10-2, the Irish own a strong résumé, but they’ll need help. The biggest dominoes? Alabama and BYU. If Alabama falls to Georgia in the SEC title game, the Tide will likely drop out of the top at-large race. And if BYU loses the Big 12 championship game to Texas Tech, Notre Dame’s position strengthens even more. With no game this week, the Irish can only wait, hope, and pray to earn one of the final playoff spots. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
