Con un denso programma che si articolerà nell'arco delle giornate di due fine settimana lunghi, 1-4 e 8-11 giugno, quest'anno Novara Jazz arriva al ragguardevole traguardo della ventesima edizione: per l'occasione sono nostri ospiti Corrado Beldì, direttore artistico, che ci illustra il cartellone di Novara Jazz 2023, e - per la prima volta a Jazz Anthology - Rob Mazurek, dagli anni novanta - quando è emerso sulla scena del jazz con l'esperienza di Chicago Underground - una delle figure più rappresentative e dinamiche del jazz contemporaneo. Mazurek ci parla dei tre diversi progetti - New Future City Radio, con Damon Locks, Exploding Star Orchestra e Chicago/Sao Paulo Underground - con cui sarà il mattatore di questa edizione: e, in diretta dal palco dell'Auditorium Demetrio Stratos di Radio Popolare, ci regala due brani in solo, in uno dei quali combina magistralmente pianoforte, piccolo trumpet, voce e percussioni.
