  Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] is a genetically determined risk factor for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) and aortic stenosis. Both drugs were well-tolerated in Phase 2 trials, with further studies needed to evaluate cardiovascular event reduction.
