Friends of the Rosary, The Sadducees, who were denying the resurrection of the body, were like the secularists today. Christ Jesus explained to them our earthly existence would be transformed and transfigured. As children of God, the dead will rise and will be "like angels," in Christ's words, as we read in the Gospel today (Lk 20:27-40). Materialists and secularists hold that, in the end, everything fades away. In contrast, the faithful who believe in the resurrection of the body hold that everything in this world is destined for redemption. Everything matters. Bishop Barron wrote, "Those who hold to the resurrection of the body are most effective at working for justice and peace in this world." Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You! Come, Holy Spirit, come!
