Now What?

📖 FAITHFUL FRIDAY — NOW WHAT?Earlier this week, we met Naaman in 2 Kings 5.He began with:“I thought…”Then he obeyed:“according to the word of the man of God.”And after God healed him, Naaman returned to Elisha and said:“Behold now, I know that there is no God in all the world, but in Israel…” — 2 Kings 5:15But that raises an important question:What do you do with what you now know?Naaman was about to go home—to the same country, the same responsibilities, and the same complicated environment. And before he even left, he was already thinking about how what he had learned about God should change the way he lived.The miracle happened at the Jordan. The opportunity for faithfulness was waiting back in Damascus.We aren't told the rest of Naaman's story. But centuries later, Jesus Himself pointed people back to Naaman in Luke 4:27 as an unexpected recipient of God's grace.💭 Today’s TruthWhat God shows us about Himself should change the way we live afterward.We don't want to simply collect biblical truth.We want to walk in it.The devotion ends.The Bible study ends.The sermon ends.But then we go back home. Back to work. Back to school. Back to our families. Back into ordinary life.And that's where faithfulness matters.So here's a question to carry with you:What has God shown me that I need to live differently because I know it?Don't just say:“Now I know.”Ask:“Lord, now how do I live?”Because what happens next is where faithfulness begins.🙏 Today’s PrayerFather, thank You for what You have shown me about Yourself through Your Word. Don't let me simply hear truth and move on. Help me live differently because of what I know about You. Show me what faithfulness looks like in the ordinary places I will walk today, and give me the courage to obey You there.
