Every day we experience what it means to be in Adam; sweat, hardship, sin, pain, sickness, etc. But are we experiencing what it means to be in Christ? This takes some energy on our part, not works to justify our faith, but thoughtful faith in Christ as we trust Him and rely upon Him.
