Healing tales is a podcast series where expert medical practitioners from Alexis hospital have come forward to talk about common and uncommon medical conditions and issues. The doctors have tried to cover a variety of medical conditions which would be helpful for common man to clear various myths, know about the line of treatment about a particular disease and would act as a torchbearer guiding patients and their family members towards the healing light. The podcast series would add value to a common man’s life and bring a ray of hope to heal.

Dr. Nishant Deshpande has completed his MBBS from Indira Gandhi Govt. Medical College, Nagpur followed by MD (Internal Medicine) from Govt. Medical College, Nagpur. He was trained in Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation at the prestigious  Sir Ganga Ram Institute of Medical Education and Research, Delhi.

Having worked as Consultant Nephrologist and Renal Transplant Physician at Max Super Speciality Hospital at Saket, Delhi.  He has gained experience in creation of Vascular access for Haemodialysis including AV Fitsulas,  AV shunts , Tunnelled Cuffed Catheters. He has experience in treating vast number of patients with Kidney disease with Heamodialysis , Paritoneal Dialysis, Plasmapheresis, Glomerular Diseases and Kidney Biopsy and Critical Care Nephrology.
