Not only is she an advocate for alopecia she's a jewelry designer, a writer and model. My first encounter with her I remember was during the time she created a calendar for Alopecia Awareness month and she asked me to send her a picture of myself in blue. To my surprise I made the cut and my picture was in the calendar. Thank you OctaviaThen I found out she made jewelry. All her accessories are handmade and painted. Octavia stated that as a young child she enjoyed writing poems and has written several books that can be found on Amazon.
