I'll buy you a drink. 走，我请你喝一杯！I'll buy you coffee. 我请你喝咖啡。The boss paid for your dinner. 晚餐的钱老板替你付了。Happens all the time. 常有的事。今天要学的是，如果有朋友邀约你，但是你时间不方便，要说“改天吧！”，来看一个对话：A: I'll take you out to dinner.B: I can't tonight, but I'll take a rain check.A: 我带你出去吃饭。B: 今晚不行，改天吧！先看A说，I'll take you out to dinner.take...out (to...) 带……出去(做……)dinner 用餐，吃饭请跟我读三遍。I'll take you out to dinner.B回答说，I can't tonight.I can't 我不行tonight 今晚说完“我今晚不行”如果结束了，感觉是不想和A去吃饭，人家之后也不约你。后面说，咱们改天去。这是虚指，没有说具体改到哪天，类似咱们说的“再约”。这是一个俚语的表达 rain check。but I'll take a rain check.but 但是，表示转折take 拿rain check 的 rain 是“下雨”，check 是“支票”，rain check 本意是指比赛因为下雨而取消，所以发给观众下次入场的延期证明（票根），或者是商店在减价时段特价品卖完时，发给顾客在有货时可以以相同优惠购买该商品的证明。后来引申出了“改天”，“延期招待”的意思。请跟我读三遍。I can't tonight, but I'll take a rain check.不能接受邀请时，直接说 I'll take a rain check.也可以。如果和对方非常非常熟悉，或者你当时手头很忙，没时间讲话，直接说 Rain check.也可以。英语说的长一点比较有礼貌，特别是拒绝对方时给对方一个理由。复习一下~A: I'll take you out to dinner.B: I can't tonight, but I'll take a rain check.
