Oil Change Part 3 - DEVINE HEALING

We continue our series on the power of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 4:23-25 NLT “Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—he healed them all. Large crowds followed him wherever he went—people from Galilee, the Ten Towns, Jerusalem, from all over Judea, and from east of the Jordan River.”

 Today on every campus we would like to speak with you all about HEALING! Does God still heal

ONE: Does God heal?

Powerful reality: Sin is to the soul what sickness is to the body. Repeat!         Jesus paid for both.

Sickness is no more our friend than sin is! We cannot treat it as a friend! Healing is not the whole gospel….. but the gospel is not complete without it. We must settle this… Jesus heals by His power.   He heals through His kids and their gifting’s.   He heals by the power of the Holy Spirit!

TWO: Why do we still deal with sickness?
The cross saved us from the penalty, power, and presence of sin. He does the same thing with sickness.

THREE: How do we receive healing?
Listen I’m a faith guy! But it’s not my faith that gets me saved…. It’s His grace!

 Jesus said even faith the size of a mustard seed can move mighty mountains…. Why?   Because… GRACE!
