Recentemente os cientistas comprovaram que a alimentação tem ligação direta com as emoções. Segundo a Dra. Gisela Savioli, que acaba de lançar o livro "Intestino - onde tudo começa e não onde tudo termina", o que comemos pode interferir diretamente nas decisões que tomamos no dia a dia. “Comemos para dar alimentação para as bactérias do nosso intestino”, diz Gisela. Ela conta que o intestino é formado por 90% de bactérias e se alimenta do que é ingerido no corpo. Dependendo do tipo da alimentação que a pessoa tem, as bactérias podem devolver saúde para o corpo, como também, o contrário, explica. “Eu busquei escrever esse livro para conscientizar a população para comer comida de verdade”, afirma Gisela ao citar uma pesquisa que revelou a alimentação inadequada estar mantando mais do que o tabagismo atualmente. “75% do nosso sistema imunológico está no intestino”. A nutricionista, que estuda a microbiota há mais de 15 anos, ainda diz que o intestino tem ligação direta com as emoções e está ligado na causa de depressões. “Pessoas que tem alimentação rica em fibra tem menos câncer”. O programa "Oito em Ponto", com apresentação de Sergei Cobra, vai ao ar pelo 103.3 FM, de segunda a sexta-feira, às 8h da manhã, na Cultura FM, Cultura Brasil e no aplicativo Cultura Digital.
