O modo de vida atual demanda muitas atividades das pessoas e, logo, um dos sacrifícios que muitos fazem é excluir da rotina algumas fatias das horas de sono para cumprirem toda a agenda diária. Mas, até que ponto isso é saudável? Quem fala sobre a questão, atualíssima, é a convidada desta terça-feira (04) do “8 em Ponto”, a psicóloga Laura Castro, sócia-fundadora do programa Vigilantes do Sono, um aplicativo que tem por objetivo ajudar pessoas a dormirem melhor, com foco em ansiedade e depressão. Esclarecendo mitos e verdades sobre a influência das bebidas na qualidade do sono, por exemplo, a especialista afirma à Sergei Cobra que café e refrigerantes com sabores surtem, de fato, efeito de alerta nas pessoas por causa da cafeína que contêm, interferindo no repouso logo em seguida. E, para quem costuma beber uma taça de vinho à noite, com a intenção de relaxar antes de pegar no sono, Laura avisa: “ As bebidas com teor alcoólico, desidratam o corpo, fazendo com que bebamos mais água para repor esse líquido, o que automaticamente irá atrapalhar o processo de dormir”. O programa "8 em Ponto", com apresentação de Sergei Cobra, vai ao ar pela Rádio Cultura FM 103.3 e 77.9 FM estendida, de segunda a sexta-feira, às 8h. O programa é transmitido também na Rádio Cultura Brasil AM 1200 e pelo aplicativo Cultura Digital.
