This week we take a deep dive into the lives of the Israelites after the exodus. God is leading them to the Promised Land. He is visibly leading them as a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. The Israelites have also seen the power of God demonstrated before them when the plagues came and led to their freedom. So why then do they fall into complaint and discouragement in the wilderness? How could they let hopelessness fill their hearts after seeing first hand God's power and salvation?
