That one small act raised $2,000 and started a movement that has since funded over 1,500 innovative research projects across nearly 150 institutions in the U.S. and Canada.Today, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) leads groundbreaking initiatives like the Childhood Cancer Data Lab and the Crazy 8 Initiative, all with the goal of curing childhood cancer. Whether it’s hosting a lemonade stand, starting a fundraiser, or donating, everyone has a part to play in this mission.Learn More About ALSF or get involved:https://www.alexslemonade.org/Follow The Colonel and The CoachFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/people/The-Colonel-and-The-Coach-LLC/61574148098223/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thecolonelandthecoach/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/106794699Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0PwaqNdtEijgwMYh3aShzZApple: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/on-authentic-leadership-podcast/id1815956469BlueSky: @colonelandthecoach.bsky.social‬TikTok: @thecolonelandthecoachthecolonelandthecoach.comleadership@thecolonelandthecoach.com(802) 203-3371Schedule A Consultation with The Colonel and The Coachhttps://link.thecolonelandthecoach.com/widget/bookings/tcatc-business-consultationSummaryIn this powerful episode of On Authentic Leadership, Liz Scott, co-Executive Director of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, shares the incredible story of how her daughter Alex’s simple wish to help others sparked a nationwide movement.
