But the kind of destruction I’m talking about is the sharp clean, trenchant kind of destruction, a kind of burnt-sage, bad-energies, Marykondo-co-star-cosmic-fascism, if it doesn’t bring you joy, kill it, cut its throat with a thin blade, violently agitate and rearrange all its matter until it becomes gaseous, like a red mist and then inhale it and become effigy to the brutal sacrifice you have both made.
