On Love & Romance for the ADHDer
from The Muse's Lab
Shout out to consistency! In this episode, I take a look at love, romance, and safety from the perspective of an ADHDer, who’s been out of the dating scene for some years. Inspired by ADHD content creator Brittany Elizabeth, I challenged the old adage of love feeling like “butterflies” and called flag on the play. Tying those butterflies to some of my most harmful experiences, I share my journey to how I’m reframing dating, what good feels like in a potential partner, and how certain friendships serve as a great foundation to write a new intimate path.
