On Reconnecting, Storytelling & Self-Liberation with Jayna Sánchez-Luca

This is an episode with a university acquaintance turned friend, Jayna. We share how we recently reconnected after a Facebook message and began cultivating a friendship in our adulthood. We discuss the different versions of ourselves from college to now and the beauty of experiencing each other in a more authentic way. Jayna tells of her imaginative childhood and her propensity to create stories and the journey she's been on to share them with the world. She talks about how writing has been a way for her to understand the world around her and to unearth her own inner-knowing. Jayna shares how her religious upbringing permeated through all areas of her life and her journey of deconstructing her worldview and moving in the direction of self-acceptance and inner peace. Her authenticity, self-reflection and openness to new ideas and ways of living is absolutely inspiring. This is an episode for any and everyone on a journey towards self-liberation.
