On Spiritual Journeys, Plant Medicine & Becoming a Death Doula with Corey Westbury

In this episode, Corey oozes vulnerability as she shares her journey as an offering to us all. It was truly an honor to spend this time retracing the steps Corey has taken to reimagine her life. Corey discusses her former work with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and how it led way to her current journey as an end of life doula. Corey shares how she has integrated her professional experience, what can feel like a windy road of corporate life, to meaningfully position her career around service. In this conversation, we break apart the stigma of plant medicine and share a mini history lesson on it's historical and cultural impact in the US. Corey explains the work she does in helping people transition more mindfully, as well as how the knowledge of death can empower us all to live more deeply. This jam packed, raw and real conversation has the potential to expand your perspective if you let it.
