Cape Town, 29 May 2023 – June is hotting up thanks to The People's Festival, Jazzathon 2023, returning to the Mother City for the 26th time! As Cape Town's Jazzathon's African Celebration prepares to go live, come Friday, 23 June, all the way through to Sunday, 25 June 2023, reasons to be cheerful are plentiful thanks to this year's stellar line-up, including the legendary American guitar maestro, Stanley Gordon. Grand Arena, GrandWest Casino & Entertainment World in Goodwood, Cape Town, is the space and place where booked-and-paid-for punters can look forward to a jam-packed, fun-filled weekend designed to knock music lovers' socks off. Think Jimmy Dludlu, Kyle Shepherd, The Lady Day Big Band, Chad Saaiman, Seth Grey, Sarah-Jane, Youngsta, and The Black Ties, amongst many more, are all committed to wowing the crowds throughout the three-day-long jazz-fueled investment. That's Jazzathon's commitment to delivering quality productions, armed with over a quarter century's investment in maintaining and growing South Africa's love of popular jazz.
