The Comets have won their last four games (three in regulation and one in overtime) and are very close to clinching a playoff spot. While the first quarter did not go well for the Comets, they responded and dominated the rest of the match and cruised to a win. That combined with an overtime loss by Baltimore brought them to one point away from clinching fourth place and a playoff spot.
