One Body in Christ: Communion, preparing one's heart with contrition and submission.

Deuteronomy 1:45 "but the Lord hearkened not to your voice, nor gave ear unto you." We discuss difference between attrition, sorrow over the consequences of sin, versus contrition, the sorrow over sin itself. Contrition requires confession, submission, and a heart of repentance. We discuss the powerful sacrament of communion which is preceeded by confession, in order individually to receive God's gift of grace in Yeshua and to be in communion with Christ, and to be joined with other believers in communion as one body in Christ.
