One Family, One Score: Eagerly waiting or mindlessly numbing?

Eagerly waiting or mindlessly numbing?      or passively acquiescing?        or trusting in ourselves? Continuing our series on Philippians entitled "One Family, One Score", this week Shane hits up Philippians 3:18 - 4:1. We are warned by Paul about those whose god is their stomach. These are contrasted with citizens of heaven who eagerly wait for Jesus. We are not just reacting to our own appetites and desires, we are willing to wait for someone who will do a much better job of satisfying us, perfecting us.Shane Rayner14/06/26
