There’s much to be said for being a happy warrior but after this week, sometimes you just can’t quite get there. Indictments, arrests, nonsensical charges, politically-motivated prosecutions, suspensions of basic Constitutional rights and a multitude of additional assaults to life as we know it visibly looming on the horizon. Political Pursuit’s Lou Ann Anderson and Planet Logic’s Lynn Woolley discuss recent developments further catapulting our country toward totalitarianism. Some Americans are thankfully horrified with engaged patriots assessing their next steps and the more passive yet astute at least beginning to assess the need for concern. Others can’t be bothered while those with lackluster intellectual curiosity and/or minimalist if any loyalty to country populate a class best characterized as part of the problem.
