One Mic Stand

from Piedmont Artist Profiles

This episode is my first attempt at recording an open mic. It is a step in the evolution of this show. And...it has some pitfalls. The audio quality is simply not up to par. I did my best to clean it up some. But it is still just OK at best.    But the performances captured are amazing, and I hope you will enjoy them.  I will try to tag everyone in the Facebook post, but I have listed them below in order of appearance. There are a few artists that I just wasn't able to clean the audio up well enough to put in the mix. And I apologize to anyone who didn't make it on the show. I promise it was just a matter of the audio being too poor.  Shane Manier, Mathew Church and Daniel Arthur Gurley, Mike G Nolan, Elaine Hill, Matthew Byrd, Don Eidman, The Lady Come First, and the closer...Al Lemmond.    *Piedmont Artist Profiles is a Concord, North Carolina based podcast that covers local artists and musicians. The artists we feature are from Charlotte, Huntersville, Cornelius, Kannapolis, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Matthews, Salisbury, and the Charlotte Metropolitan Area. Featuring live performances and in depth interviews, we cover everything from painters, poets, and authors, to rock, reggae, and punk.
