Hello and welcome to one on one with Buddy in Veronica. We are delighted that you are joining us for the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and there is hope. And we're giving you that lifeline of hope today. And his name is Jesus.
Just know that he sees us and he knows exactly what we're going through when we're going through it. Isn't it wonderful to know that he is an intimate savior? He loves us. He knows us by name.
And he even knows the exact amount of hair on Buddy's head. He uses me because I take a long. I think I'll move on and do God's thing too. Let's do a big God thing.
But I'll just check on Buddy's hair today. You know, that's how intimate he is with us. He loves us. And I want to tell you that what concerns you concerns him?
It doesn't have to be big all the time. It can be the little things. You know, he's concerned about us. He loves us.
He is a father who adores us. And he wants us to come to him with our struggles, with our issues, even when we feel alone and isolated. And that's the enemy coming into. Isolate us.
We even see that in the animal kingdom. You know, if the enemy, if a predator can isolate part of a group of animals, you know, that's where they pray. So that's why we stick together. And we join together in God's Word.
We love each other. We encourage each other. Yeah, we've gone through some hard things. But we are in this together.
And God is with us. God will never fail us, even in the most desolate situations. And that's what we're going to talk about today. A story in the Bible that really touches my heart.
That God sees us. He really sees us. He's aware of what we are going through. And he loves us.
And don't buy in to the lie of the devil to tell you that God doesn't care for you. He does. He loves you. And he sees exactly where you're going.
You know, and for me to be able to see, it's a little more struggle these days. I'm not there yet. You know, and without the readers, you know, nothing comes into focus. You know, and I've got.
I'm admitting that you're getting older, Betty. Well, I may as well because you won't. No. No way.
Only one of us is. I've been 20 years for a long time. This is my evidence. You know, I've got these things everywhere, literally everywhere.
Okay, let me tell you, everywhere. They're in the landscape. I found a pair in the landscape. I don't know what you were doing there in the bushes.
But there was some glasses in the bushes that I found. I found these really odd, odd places. I was making up the bed. And there were glasses in the covers.
I mean, you know, I was helping to make up the bed and they fell off. And I didn't realize that I needed them. I must have needed them at that moment or I would have gone on to it. But you know, the funny thing is, you know, I'm watching kind of like God.
I see y'all. And I watch you go around the house looking for your glasses. I watch you do that. You know, it was really cool though, when I realized how badly I needed these because the headaches kind of went away where I was straining.
I didn't have to stretch my arms out to try to read something. I could actually read a menu. Look, look, I can see. I could read my Bible again.
The words were clear. I wasn't guessing at what the next word would be. I love notes. Yes, yes.
Yes. But it's wonderful when you can see. You know, what a gift. I mean, really, I didn't realize until I didn't have it.
Really what a gift it was to have your vision to be able to see. I know. When I was a child, I had to wear glasses. And my vision was pretty bad.
And I refused. That's how you married me. I couldn't see. So I wore those hard lenses.
That's hard because I refused to wear glasses because I don't think I look good in glasses. I don't have the face for glasses. So I was determined to wear those hard lenses all through school. And I remember I would lose a contact lens and everybody would say, be still.
Don't move. And we would have to get down on the floor. So years later, I had LASIK. Thank God for LASIK.
So I understand, not, I was the person that when I would wake up in the morning, I could not see until I put glasses on or my contacts. So I do understand your pain. I'm just making fun of you. I do understand.
It's valuable to keep our focus. I mean, it's precious to see. You know, seeing is again, it's such a gift. You know, but we take it for granted.
Many times we do. We take it for granted until we realize one day. We kind of have to inhale with this. You know, there's a beautiful story in the Bible that really kind of kind of emphasizes about how beautiful sight really is.
And it's about Hagar. Yes. And how God sees us. How God doesn't lose his focus on us.
Yes. God doesn't have reading glasses. He doesn't have to hunt for that. He knows exactly where we are.
He sees these hairs on my head. He's got a great vision. He's counted every day. I'm counted.
But you know, in knowing this beautiful story, this is when we see that God is very cognizant of our world. Yes. And if you'll go with us in Genesis 16, beginning in verse 7, it says, now the angel of the Lord found Hagar by the spring and the wilderness. And he said to her, Hagar, Sarah, he said, Sarah's made, where have you come from and where are you going?
You know, isn't it interesting that the angel of the Lord, and this is before Jesus came, many of us think that the angel of the Lord was Christ before he came to the earth. The angel of the Lord, he was there asking her a question because he was concerned about her. Just like I told you what concerns you concerns the Lord. And he asked her a question and he said that when Sarah dealt harshly with her, she fled from her presence.
And the angel of the Lord found her. And he said, where have you come from and where are you going? And she said, I am fleeing from the presence of my mistress, Sarah. And the angel of the Lord said to her, return to your mistress, submit yourself under her hand.
Then the angel of the Lord said to her, I will multiply your descendants exceedingly so that they shall not be counted from multitude. And the angel of the Lord then prophesied over her, behold, you're with child. You shall bear a son and you shall call his name Ishmael because the Lord has heard your affliction. He shall be a wild man and his hand shall be set against every man and every man's hand said against him and he shall dwell in the presence of his brethren.
Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to you, her, are you the God who sees? You are the God who sees. For she said, I have also seen him who sees me. She knew then that he was concerned.
And this was a story before then that Sarah had made this mess. That she, there was a promise of a promise son. Sarah took the matters into her own hands after she was like 90 years old and had not had a son. And she gave Sarah to Abraham to have a child.
And then when she became a child she became very jealous of her and she sent her away. I mean what a cruel thing to do. She had no choice. She was banished because it said that Hagar kind of looked at her like, well look what I have and you don't.
Well it aggravated her. So she sent her away. So God saw her and her despair. Here she was going to have a child.
They isolated her just sent her off in the wilderness basically to die. And then the Lord came to her rescue, started asking her questions. Then there was a well spring that would spring up there and give her water. He gave her instructions.
He gave her sustenance. And that just like the Lord, to come in your wilderness time to give you instruction, to give you that living water that you need and say, no this is what you need to do, that comforting. And she said, this is the first time we really see a name of the Lord. And she said, El-Rohi, he's the God who sees me.
In that comforting to nobody that God sees us no matter where we are, no matter what circumstance that we're in, no matter what circumstance we are in America or in the world. God knows exactly what's going on. He sees very well. He sees evil that's been perpetrated in the darkness.
That's why he saw the evil that Sarah had perpetrated against her. God also sees the evil that has been perpetrated against us as a nation. He will come. He will give us counsel and he will give us the Holy Spirit to get through what we need to get through.
And he will give us a promise. The promise to, hey, Garret says, no, you're going to have a child. You're going to name him Ishmael. And then it says, because the Lord has heard your affliction, God has heard our cries.
He's heard our affliction. But then he went on to prophesize that this man is going to be a wild man. He's not going to be able to get along with his brothers. He's going to fight them.
And the King James Version says he's going to be wild as a donkey. She gave birth to the Arab nation. And they don't get along with most of the people in the world. This is a prophecy that was fulfilled.
So God gave her a promise. It's okay. You go back. I'm going to take care of this.
You know, when the angel found her, the world had thrown her a curve ball and she couldn't hit. She had no control. She was in the game by no choice of her own. And she was.
Sounds familiar. It does. I mean, it sounds like many lives. Yes.
I mean, it sounds like our lives at many times. You know, things happen that you're totally have no control over. And all of a sudden you find yourself wrapped up in it and you're trying to deal with it. And all of a sudden you feel so alone.
And Hagar really felt like a nobody. I mean, someone that could just be cast out, cast away. No carrying a child from a situation she didn't create, cast out by the person who put her in that situation. I mean, she was feeling pretty dog gone alone and pretty destitute.
And I know some of you right now are really associating yourself with this scenario because a life has come. You know, I've seen families destroyed by drugs where they're drug into a situation because a loved one gets on drugs or something happens and they have a child out of wedlock and they get brought into a situation where you get yourself into a marriage that all of a sudden it's just a terrible marriage. It wasn't what you had envisioned going into it. And people are influencing that.
And all of a sudden you feel so alone. So destitute and it feels like you're all on your own. And that's what we're talking about here. What happened with Hagar is she realized that God sees her.
That she is somebody. That this situation can change because yes, there is a love for her in the heavenlies that she was told to be unaware of. But she had to put her spiritual glasses on to see that an angel of the Lord had to come before her and speak to her so that she could understand that yes, he sees me. God sees me.
She didn't see him until first he saw her and she recognized then that she was the apple of his eye, that she was one who God would take the time out. As Veronica said, you know, I was making fun about counting the hairs on my head because it wouldn't take much time. But for God to come and care enough about me to count the hairs on my head, that's pretty spectacular. For him to love Hagar enough that he would send an angel out to say, look, I see you.
Don't think you're alone out here. Yeah, you've been vanished. Things aren't going your way right now, but they're going to change. And I want to speak into your life, prophetically today.
And I don't know what that situation is in your life. But I do know that God sees you. He's given you a hope and a promise. And above all things he wants you to prosper and to be in health.
That is word to you and the things will get better for you. He sees you. He knows what you're going through. Don't think you're going through it alone.
And don't give up. You keep pushing forward. She didn't go out there and just give up and die. She went out there and the one who sees eternity sees her.
The one who sees eternity sees you. The one who sees your future, your tomorrow sees you today, right now. Don't look the other way. Put your glasses on.
Be like me. Get your vision sharp and crisp where you can see what God wants to do in your life. He's a loving God, a forgiving God. He's one who wants you to have nothing but peace and joy in your life.
And those areas where you don't have that. God can change that for you. But look for Him. He sees you.
Look for Him now. If you've tried to reach within yourself to reach outside, I've seen so many people go through tough situations and go find someone who has gone through a like situation who it hasn't been gone well for to seek advice. You don't go into the enemy's camp knowing the information you're going to get is not going to be helpful to you. It's only going to confirm your fears and your doubts and put you in a corner that you feel you can't get out of.
Well, I'm telling you there's nothing in this world that God cannot release you from. If you'll only look to Him for direction, look to Him for that peace and that guidance. Don't go listening to the naysayers. The ones who are going to put you on the wrong road.
Seek out good, godly advice. Seek out people who want to believe in you, who want to help you, who want to uplift you, not downgrade other people or speak negative things into your life. God wants to bless you. He wants to allow you to have this peace and joy that we're speaking of.
You know, it took Hagar out of the situation. Now, she still had some battles to fight. We all have battles to fight. It doesn't matter.
But God is there with you. Don't ever think that you're alone, that you're isolated, that no one cares, that you're a nobody because you are everything. You are a blood-bought, born again, child of God when you've received Him into your life and He is ready to look into your life and show you the horizon, the destiny beyond your today. But many times, God becomes real to us like He did to Hagar in the wilderness.
We're in the wilderness experience. We're there. And you know, in the wilderness, that sand is chiseling us. It's making us, it's molding us to the people who God has called us to be.
When we empty ourselves of everything and we become just desperate for Him, I can tell you that wilderness times in my life is when God has become very real to me. Those times that I've been so broken, that I've been before Him, I've cried out, I can remember a time early on in my life that I had gotten myself in a situation. I felt so alone and so isolated that I actually just tucked my knees into myself and I curled myself in a ball in a corner of my house. And the only thing that I could say is help me, help me.
God heard the very cry of my heart. Don't think that God doesn't hear the cry of your heart. The enemy will want to come in with a spirit of hopelessness like you did Hagar. Things will never change.
You're here in the wilderness. You're going to die. You and your children will have no hope. But that's when God shows up and He becomes real.
She looked at Him and said, you see me. The creator of the universe sees me and what I'm going through. The creator of the universe saw me, knew what I was going through. And at that very particular time, my grandmother didn't realize what I was going through.
Godly woman, God spoke to her and said, tell Veronica, the best is yet to come. She wrote that on a little piece of paper. She came to my house and she put it on my refrigerator with a magnet. She said, I want to tell you what God has in store for you.
The best is yet to come. At first, I couldn't see it. I was still in the wilderness. I was still hurting.
I was still broken. I was still sunburned from the heat bearing down for me. But then there was a time that I looked at that on the refrigerator. I got it into my spirit.
That's when God spoke to me. That's when God became real to me all over again. God, I know that you love me. I know you've not forgotten me.
I know that I have a destiny. I know that you've placed something on the inside of me. I'm speaking to somebody's life today. This is you.
This is exactly where you are. You're saying, I don't think anybody sees me. My husband looks over me. My children don't talk to me.
It's like I'm a nobody. But God sees you. He knows where you are. He's speaking to your heart right now.
And I am declaring that that spirit of hopelessness be broken off of your life now by the authority of Jesus Christ. You are by the wellspring of living water. He is your El Rolhe. He is a God who sees you.
He is the God who will never forsake you. He is the God who will take you by the hand and lead you out of this wilderness and give you direction, give you clarity. There's somebody listening to me today and watching saying, I need clarity. It's like my mind is so muddled.
I'm so bataweary. I am so tired. God sees you. And I am declaring over you today that you are going to have restoration.
I declare restore in more over your life and over your family, over your finances, over your marriage. There's a marriage that it looks like it can never be put back together. And God says, if you will just trust me, I am speaking life into your marriage right now. God says that I have called you together for this time and purpose.
Come together. The enemy has come in to divide and conquer. Now rise up and know who you are in Christ Jesus. Rise up and know that he loves you.
He values you. He knows what he's placed on the inside of you. Don't buy into the lie of the devil that he has forsaken you. He will never forsake you.
There is a reason to wake up in the morning. That spirit of depression that has been clouded and hovering over you. I break that in you now by the authority of Jesus Christ. God oppressiveness that comes to bind you to take every bit of life out of you.
I declare that joy is coming in the morning. Sorrow may have lasted for the long night season, but joy is coming in the morning. You need to stand up wherever you are. You need to raise your hands and you need to start praising God that he has seen you and he's speaking directly to you today.
The Lord God of the universe who created you is speaking into your very being by this humble vessel. He is speaking into you to rise up that he has not forsaken you. He sees every injustice that has gone on. I am a God of justice, he says, and I will make things right.
Know that I have come to you this day. You will not question my timing. You will not question my tactics. You will trust me and know that I am the God who cares for you.
I am the God who shelters you. I am the God that speaks life into you. Now rise up and do what I have called you to do this day. This word is for you today.
It's flowing out of me like a river to you because he has seen you. He has seen you in the midnight hour crying out to him. Don is getting ready to break over your life today. The sun is getting ready to shine.
Make yourself from the state that you are in. The wilderness season will soon be done and you will fulfill the purpose and the call. God has placed something on the inside of you that he wants to birth. Do not allow the enemy to abort the call that is up on your life.
Rise up from this wilderness. Rise up from this desolate place for God has seen you. He is the God who sees. He is the God who answers prayers.
When things look impossible, that's when God loves to come in and he shifts it around. I declare that there's been a divine shift in your life today and from this moment forward it will never be the same. From this moment forward, Hagar's life was never the same. But even when you have a God encounter and when God becomes real in your life, your life is never the same.
I declare from this moment forward that your life is never the same. COVID can't take you out. Cancer can't take you out. No sickness can break you out of this world until you have fulfilled the plan that God has in your life.
I feel this. God is speaking to you today. Now, rise up and be joyful. Hagar got up from this place.
She dried her tears. She got herself together and she went back to where God had called her. It's time for us to rise up and it's time for us to hear what the voice of the Lord is saying to all of us today. We've all felt like Hagars.
We've all felt abandoned. We've all felt alone, but it's time to get out of that season. I'm speaking to you today from the depths of my heart. God loves you and there's a purpose and a plan for your life by the authority of Jesus Christ.
Amen. Receive that. Receive that. God sees into your life.
Let God be real to you. Receive this as God's word in your life. There are people out there. We know who have been away from their family and their loved ones.
The reasons way beyond their control, nothing they can do and they felt so alone. But God is always there with you. Put your spiritual glasses on. Sharpen your vision to see the one who sees you.
He is there with you. He will never, ever leave you, never forsake you. There is restoration in store for your lives. There is a light at the end of the long tunnel.
You know, joy comes in the morning. Sometimes it's a long, long night, but joy will come in the morning. And the one who sees you will be with you every step of the way, all the way through. He will never leave you, never forsake you.
He will stick with you closer than a brother. You know, we can't let the enemy convince us that it's always going to be this way. That we are, he's just clouding our view of the joy and the peace that the Bible speaks to us up when we look to the heavens from where our strength comes, from where our salvation comes, from where our restoration comes, from where our deliverance comes, from where our healing comes, from where God will come and step in and allow His angelic hosts to rest in our homes, in our lives, in our spirits and turn the night into day. And what the enemy meant for desolation and to rejoice in.
And we're asking you today to see the one who sees you, let him be real in your life, and let his word be real in your life. Well, we love you and God loves you until we see you again next week. Remember that God is always faithful. Hello everyone.
