Hello and welcome to one on one. We are so pleased that you've chosen Christian programming to be in your homes and we are honored and blessed that you have chosen us, Buddy and Veronica McLaughlin, to come and break the bread of life with you and bring the awesome news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. There's wonderful technology and wherever you're hearing, it's from we're just thankful that you're carving out the time. We know we're widdling down 2020, man, praise the Lord.

Hey, deep breath. You know, we've heard of all the calendar burning events that are going to happen, but you know, I'm thankful that God has given us this year. I'm thankful that we've learned so much through it because we were just listening to a message last night about tribulations. They called you to have character, build character.

And boy, we're all been working on that this year, but you know, Veronica, the wonderful part about getting through this year, we know the best is yet to come. The best is yet to come. And what you're referring to is a scripture that Jesus told us. He said, you know, in this world, you're going to have tribulations.

You know, this year has been unprecedented. And we are definitely in the world. We are definitely in the world. But he said, be of good cheer.

How can you be of good cheer, you say? Because Jesus said, I have overcome the world. That's why we know the best is yet to come. The best is yet to come in this upcoming year in 2021 because God is going to send His glory like never before.

We feel that the church is going to have an epic historical time. We're getting ready to see great revival from the shaking that we have been in. There has been a great awakening. We've seen it.

We've experienced it. We know when people are rising to the call, Christian soldiers are rising up like never before. Now we know the best is yet to come. That was the foundation that our ministry began on.

And some of the darkest times of my life, my praying grandmother had a word from the Lord. How his spirit spoke to her and said, tell Veronica the best is yet to come. Now, I remember seeing that on the refrigerator. When you had ever started that?

On the refrigerator is before Betty had come into my life. It was a very dark season. And I see the best is already mine. The best is already mine.

And here he is. Amen, brother. I agree with that. But God knew what he was talking about.

So she did put that up on my refrigerator. And it was such a bleak time in my life. At the beginning, I didn't even look at it because I almost had, I don't want to say a bitterness, but just how can this possibly be? I feel like my life is over.

I feel a sense of hopelessness. And many of you may feel like that from this year. It can't get any better. How can it get any better?

Hopelessness comes in to tell you that things will never change. And that's where I was when that was up on my refrigerator. But God will give us a word that is completely opposite of what we are going through. So we're giving you a word today to let you know that it's coming.

God's glory is coming. The best is yet to come. And there was a time buddy that I did look at that on the refrigerator. And I spoke out loud and I said, okay, God, if the best is yet to come, then bring it on and look what happened.

Well, it wasn't quite that simple. No, it wasn't. There was a lot of tribulation in between. But we can't grow weary in that process, in that tribulation time.

It does build our character. And there are things that God wanted to get out of me, to refine me, things that I was going through and also set us on the course for this ministry. It launched this ministry, buddy's salvation through a time. And you coming to know the Lord launched this ministry.

And the best is yet to come was our foundation for that. It was, you know, you kept telling me now that's been so deep in my spirit. And I hope after this program, it's in yours because there are so many examples. When I wish someone a happy birthday now, I say the best is yet to come.

Because I believe the next year of their life, God is going to bless them more abundantly than ever. I know the best has been yet to come. It amazes me every year how God works in their lives and the people he brings into our lives, to influence our ministry, to influence our family, to influence our children, to see what's going on in their lives. I know the best is yet to come.

It's just, it's wonderful when you trust God, you know, because faith is what? It's the essence of things hoped for that are unseen. And that's what is the true core when we give our heart to the Lord is to then to have that faith, to be able to reach beyond the circumstances, beyond what you see and have that hope. Because Jesus said he came to give us life, to give us love, to give us a promise, and to give us hope.

And that's what we hang on. And the best is yet to come, probably exemplifies hope more than any added or cliche or verse that we've ever had in every relationship. It does. And we hold fast to that.

I remember as you were talking about a story that I read of a young lady who was in a concentration camp. You can't get more bleak really than living in that concentration camp in Nazi Germany. And so there was written on a wall. After she had passed away, she had scribbled on the wall with a little rock.

I know the sun is still there, even though it's behind the clouds. I know the love of God is still in my heart because I can feel it. She knew the best was yet to come even in the bleakest of times, even with what we have gone through. We know the sun is going to shine.

And I want to speak into somebody's life today, that your dawn is getting ready to break. Sorrow may have lasted for a long hard season, but joy is coming in the morning. You hold on to that promise. And what is the promise given?

Many times, as I said, God will give us a word in a dark season that's completely opposite of what we are going through so that we will have faith in Him. We will hold on to the promises of God. Now, there was a promise that the prophet got in Habakkuk in the Old Testament. And it said in Habakkuk 2, 14, this is a promise, any prophecy, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Now, when he was writing this, it was a very bleak time for Israel, that he was giving Israel a promise, but the earth, the kingdom was going to be filled with the glory of God, just like the waters cover the sea. That's a lot of glory. The glory is going to totally encompass our lives. In November of last year, matter of fact, the night of the election, the Lord spoke to my heart and he said, turn off the media.

It was turned off and it stayed off. And the Lord started downloading some things into my spirit that I didn't realize what was getting ready to happen in the next couple of months that we are still going through. He told me that a shift had taken place, a shift had already been taken place, a shift in the spirit realm that would begin a tsunami in the spirit that would come and cover the entire earth. And it gripped me, you know, buddy.

So then I went back and I remember the tsunami that hit in Indonesia in 2006, I believe it was, or 2004, 2004 and December the 26th. And I started researching that because he equated that shift to the shift in the natural. And what happened underneath the Indian Ocean between the Burma and the Indian Fault, you know, it's kind of in that ring of fire, that there was a shift in the place, the tectonic plates underneath the ocean to the magnitude of 9.3, which is a huge earthquake. Now, nobody saw it, only seismologists knew what had transpired underneath the ocean.

Well, this is caused what they call an undersea mega thrust. And God showed me this in the spirit that when this shift had taken place, that there was a mega thrust that was coming of his glory. And if you can remember, I can still remember those scenes in Indonesia horrifically, when those hundred foot waves of that tsunami crashed onto that shoreline. People were running for their lives.

We saw, you know, cars being swept out to sea, boats being swept out to sea, homes, unfortunately people being swept out to sea. That's what happens with a mega thrust. And what God was conveying, he said, this was like nothing the earth had ever seen. It was the largest recorded tsunami in history.

But he said, Veronica, watch and see, it's another thing the Lord spoke to me last year. Watch and see, this is going to be a mega thrust of my glory that the enemy cannot stop. And we being filled with the spirit and we understanding things in the spirit realm know that there's been a Holy Ghost shift. And there's a great wave of his glory, as Habakkuk said, that it's going to cover the entire earth.

We are declaring the billion harvest of souls into this next year, into this next era. It's not just a brand new year. It's a brand new era for us. And we are going to see God's glory, like he promised, the best is yet to come.

We are going to see it in our lifetime. And that's a promise that we're holding onto. And that field is white for harvest. I mean, when you look at the globe, it is, I mean, look just in China alone, at the souls who are reaching for something beyond what they've been told is their lives.

And they're looking to the heavens. The underground church there, there are thousands up on thousands coming to the Lord, hiding out in fear of their lives, knowing that if they get caught, what the punishment will be. They are standing strong for God, because we know when you feel the best, the best, we want to give God our best. It's up to us to pray to that end.

This scripture really, David had prayed that many times at the end of all of the things that he praised God for, at the end of his victories, the end of his battles, he prayed to let the whole world see the hand of God, to see the hand of God be able to make these things real in their lives, to let them realize where the victories come from. So let's go into this new year 2021 with the thought, the focus, the belief, the hope, that it is going to be the year when God's victory is the greatest this earth has ever seen. And let it start with us. Let it start with us today with our fervent prayer, with praising him for the victories and everything that we do, giving him the glory for everything that's going on in this world that is worthy of his praise.

Those are the things we have to learn to meditate on, it tells us in Philippians, we meditate upon the things that are true, that are honest, that are praise worthy. Those are the things that God wants to have our hearts. And when you think of the best as you have to come, I'm thinking of all those wonderful things and I just mentioned that Philippians reminds us of that we should give thanks to God for. So let's do that in advance in 2021.

Let's not wait, let's just start into the years saying, God, we give you the glory for all that you're going to use us Father, Father, we pray that your spirit fall upon this earth is never before. Let me be a catalyst, Father, for you to move in our homes and our churches, in our nation, dear God and in this world. Let's not confine God's glory, let's not think about it. You know, my for and no more, let's think about the world.

Think about it like God sees it. He sees it with a broad brush. Let's not confine him this year. Let's allow ourselves to just have a glimpse of his greatness, of his boldness, of what he really represents as the great God that he is.

We limit him sometimes in our prayers. Let's just open ourselves up and just realize that 2021 is going to be an awesome year. We believe it. We know it's going to come to pass.

God's powerful. He is ready to step out. He is looking for us to be the catalyst to use, to bring, lift up the word. What do we do?

We lift up the word of God. You know, David went through a lot of things. He struggled for 13 long years running from solid fighting battles, enemies, and even beyond that, he had to fight. But David always gave God the glory for every victory.

Let's give God the glory for the victories we've had in 2020. I know we've had some loss. I know it's been that tough year. I know the church has struggled.

I know businesses have struggled, families. I mean, it's been crazy, but God will build our character through that. Let's not look at the circumstances, but remember those things that are not as though they are. That is your faith.

That's what God brings the chimes in heaven when God just shows himself great and mighty. When he says, my faithful children, you know what's he say when we run our race, he says, welcome in my good and faithful servant. That is what he wants us to be, is faithful in all things, even through the tough times. But now we've got a whole new year ahead of us, a year that we can glorify God in so many ways.

Because I do. It's Veronica when she read this to me about the best as you have to come, it ranks so deep into my heart. The best is yet. Yes, regardless of how uncertain.

We feel like we are going into this year, the uncertainties. We must have that faith to know the best is yet to come, that the megathrust has already begun. There's nothing the enemy can do to stop it. There was nothing anybody can do to stop that tsunami.

With all of the technology that we have, nothing could be done. This has already begun. And we, the church, we are rising up in this historic hour like never before. We're praying like never before.

We know that this wave of glory is going to be sweeping, not just America, but the entire world. And there's nothing the devil can do about it. Why? Because we are standing on God's word.

We're standing on His promise. We know that this megathrust is coming in with miracles, with power, and with His glory. God is aligning us. That's why He has allowed this to happen.

He is aligning us, the church, the praying church, the remnant to fulfill the great plan that He has for the best is yet to come. And let me tell you about the great outpouring that's getting ready to happen. We can read this in Joel, Joel, beginning in chapter 2 in verse 25. And this is a prophecy that this prophet gave us that rings true for us today.

It's a promise that we can hold on to, says, for I will restore. God is in the business of restoring. Even after a year that we have had, God says, I want to restore and more. I'm going to restore to you the years, the locusts, and the swarming locusts have eaten, the crawling locusts, the consuming locusts, and the chewing locusts, the great army which I sent among you.

You know, when the locust came, they just didn't chew the branches. These locusts went even into the root system. It looked totally hopeless. God says, I am restoring all of that back to you.

And you will eat and plenty and you will be satisfied. You will praise the name of the Lord who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people will not be put to shame. Hey, that's us.

It's time for us to rise up and take our rightful place in the kingdom of God. He doesn't want us to walk in shame and defeat. And he said, you will know that I am in the midst of Israel. I am the Lord your God.

And there is no other. And again, he said, my people will not be put to shame. Isn't that a great promise? God is giving that to us today.

And now this is the great outpouring. This is what we can expect in this new era of his glory. And it will come to pass that I am going to pour out my spirit on all flesh. Everybody, it doesn't matter our race.

It doesn't matter the color of our skin. It doesn't matter where we live from the top to the bottom. God says, I'm going to pour out my spirit upon all of you. Your sons and your daughters are going to prophesy in this great outcoming, prophesy, meaning proclaiming the works of the Lord.

Your old man shall dream dreams. Your young man shall see visions. And on my men's servants and maid servants, I am going to pour out my spirit in those days. And this is glorious.

He said, I will show my wonders in the heavens and the earth. Get ready. Get ready. God's wondrous glory is coming over us like never before.

We have gone through hellish circumstances. But God says that we are rising up with great victory and great glory is coming. And the best is yet to come. I think that's exciting, buddy.

I think it's exciting that the great outpouring is here, that we have to stand. We have to hold the line. And we say, God, we will not grow weary and well doing. We are going to reap and do season.

We are going to see your outpouring. My grandmother would used to sing a song. I crossed the hot burning deserts, but I've come too far to turn back. I've gone too far to turn back.

You can't tell me that God's not going to do it. I know he's going to do it. He's done it so many times before, and we can take his promises. And in this new year, take hope.

We are declaring the glory, the outpouring, and we are praying God, bring it on. Now, when my grandmother told me the best is yet to come, it didn't look like it at that moment. You may say, Veronica, we're in a mess right now. But God says, you just hold on, because I've given you a promise, and it is going to come to pass you, just like he said.

You know, we've got to condition ourselves right now to look into this year, the prophet Isaiah, when he was speaking to the church. He was telling the church, it's time. And I want to read that to you in Isaiah 52 2. I think this would be something great for us to all do right now.

Shake yourself from the dust. Arise, sit down, O Jerusalem. Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. He was speaking to the church to stand up, to arise, to take these restraints from around them, and stand forth for the things of God, for the things they know are true.

That's where we need to be this year. I want to encourage you to stand up and arise in 2021. Let it be the year that you glorify God in ways you've never thought that you could or would. Even looking beyond the bonds, the issues of the past year, the things that the enemy wants you to drag into this year, stand up and arise.

Shake yourself from the bonds of those things. Put them behind you. Let's go forth for the things of God, because if we've been telling you this entire time, the best is yet to come. We have the God that flung the stars in the universe, that is siding with us, who loves us, who says he wants to give us a future, a hope.

He's already made us a place to be. We have a glorious home to go to, and we finish this race, we fight the good fights. It's like 21, 2021, be the time that you really knuckle down and say, I'm going to fight this year, because we fight against what? Spirits and principalities, we don't fight against flesh and blood, and we do that in our prayer life, we do that in our word, ring the word of God, and proclaiming the word of God over our lives and over others' lives, over this nation, Veronica, over this world this year.

The word of God wants to encompass and envelop every, every nation. He does, just like the waters in Habakkuk, again, I'll remind you, Habakkuk 214, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of God, with his goodness, with his love, with his mercy, and the glory of the Lord, like the waters that cover the sea, and also a wonderful promise that Daniel gave us, a prophet in the Old Testament, Daniel 1132, the people that know their God, and we know him, we love him, he lives in our hearts, shall be strong, shall be courageous, and they shall do great exploits. That's us. Exploits, signs, and wonders, and miracles, all right.

Let's rise up, let's be strong, let's be courageous, and let's do great exploits for our God. I'm telling you, the best is yet to come, just as my grandmother spoke that prophetically over me, at a very difficult season in my life, I'm speaking that prophetically over you now, and every situation that you were in, the best is yet to come. Buddy and I are gonna take this time to bless you going into this new year. Father, I thank you for the opportunity to sow into your people, your people, God who love you, who know you, who are ready to do great exploits.

God, I thank you for your glory, that is getting ready to sweep over the earth. I thank you that the shift has already come. God, you have prepared us for this time. You have prepared us for the season, just like Esther.

You said that God, you have brought us to this time, and this season just for a time like this. Now, God, I am praying blessings over your people. God, they have come out of a hot, burning wilderness, but God, they've got too much to gain to lose, and they are not turning back. We are not turning back.

We are wiping the dust off of 2020, and we are going into 2021 with our hands raised and praising God for the great tsunami of His glory, that is getting ready to sweep over this nation, and over the nations of the world. Let it be done, and let it be so. We pray blessings over you, and over your entire household in Jesus name. Amen.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. We've got a great year ahead of us.

Thank you, God, for everything you've blessed us with in 2020. When we leave that behind, Father, we take with you that hope and that promise of the best as yet to come, and we look forward, Father, to what you're going to be doing in each and every life that's hearing these words right now. Yes. Well, we love you.

Yes. And God loves you. Until we see you again next week, remember that God is always faithful. And the best is yet to come.
