De dreiging op een grondoorlog neemt alleen maar verder toe, en ook de Rode Zee dreigt op korte termijn de oorlog in te worden gesleurd. (08:23) De puinhopen van Rutte Ook de toekomst van de NAVO komt door de oorlog in het Midden-Oosten steeds verder onder druk te staan. Binnen de NAVO neemt de wrevel over Ruttes optredens steeds verder toe. In interviews met Amerikaanse televisiezenders lijkt hij zelfs stemadvies te geven aan de Amerikanen. Michelle Haas legt het uit. (19:05) Verleiding voor steeds meer kernwapens. Israël en de VS vielen Iran binnen omdat het land volgens hun kernwapens wilde ontwikkelen. Maar het land zou daarmee verre van de enige in de wereld zijn met kernwapens. Zeker nu groeit de verleiding om kernwapens te ontwikkelen alleen maar verder. We praten erover met Niels van Willigen.
