For the 10th episode we sat down with MINDTHEGAP Trio during their Creative Camp, a few days dedicated to creating and experimenting for their new album. MINDTHEGAP is an instrumental trio born in Transylvania, created by Ștefan Ormenișan (composer, piano, keyboards, and the creative mind behind MINDTHEGAP, the renowned international design brand), Alex Cioată (bass), and Tamás Iszlai (drums). In our conversation, we talked about how the band came together, what it means to build a sound rooted in Transylvania’s multicultural identity, and what’s next, including a second studio album expected later this year. We also got into the quiet importance of believing in yourself, and how beautiful life can become when you return to music after putting it aside for twenty years.
