OS 1320: Turkeys, Tuna…and an Octopus?

from The Outdoors Show

So the guys hit the studio this morning wishing they could be on the water instead. As you may or may not know, April is typically the month where you enjoy some great fishing in spite of the lousy weather.  Well it’s VERY different this year, and the past several days have been incredible. The guys talked about all the cool catches, and Kevin even managed to land an octopus! Capt. Bryan LeSage also dropped by to talk tuna and the big trip he took recently. And last, but certainly not least, Jeff, after some prompting, shared his somewhat embarrassing turkey story…but you’ll have to listen to get the details. Here’s your L.V. Hiers gear tip of the week: Is a fishing hook on the brim of a hat cool or not? If you think it is, get yours on Amazon now! Here’s your Ring Power CAT tip of the week: We will be with our guy Guy at Consignment Boat Sales on May 4th. Stop by and see us! Here’s your KirbyCo Builders, Inc cooking tip of the week: If you’re looking for a different spin on a snack, Blue Diamond Pecan Nut Thins are great crackers with great flavor…and they’re gluten free, too! Get yours at Fresh Market for about $5.00/box. Facebook
