Our aviation cutbacks & mental health.

from Humanity Unplugged Podcast · host Jermaine McCrimmon

1S. One near-miss is too many, even though the U.S. aviation system is the safest in the world. The FAA released a Safety Call to Action in February 2023 to critically examine the systems, procedures, culture, structure, and integration of safety initiatives in the U.S. aerospace system. 2S. The Trump administration suggested making large budget cuts to several federal agencies, which frequently led to less money being allocated to services and activities. This raised questions about the agencies' capacity to sustain workforce levels and successfully carry out their missions.3S. Our general well-being is greatly influenced by our mental health. It has a significant impact on our quality of life and is equally as significant as our physical health. Relationship problems, physical health problems, and delays in long-term objectives are more common among those who are experiencing mental health difficulties. Because of this, it's critical to put your mental health first and deal with any problems that may come up. Early intervention for mental health issues has the power to transform and perhaps save lives.
