Our movie of the month: “Afire” by Christian Petzold - Unser Filmtipp des Monats: "Roter Himmel" von Christian Petzold

Leo and Felix arrive at the perfect setting for their summer holiday, but Leon (Thomas Schubert) insists he has to work on his new book. And when he and Felix (Langston Uibel) realize that they have to share the holiday cottage with carefree Nadja (Paula Beer), a group dynamic emerges that crackles just as much as summer and the ever-approaching forest fire. Christian Petzold's award-winning film “Afire” (“Roter Himmel” in German) is a deeply atmospheric work, funny and tragic at the same time.
