Our Sins Are Not The Same: Why Our Cultural Standards Shouldn't Be Our Doctrine

Greetings everyone, and may mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. We will be in Romans 14 today. Is it a sin to dance, smoke, wear a hat in church, or eat certain kinds of meat? Whether you say yes or no, you are right. A lot of sins aren't covered in the Bible, but fall under the conviction of the Holy Spirit. This doesn't mean that the answer is the same for everyone. We have to be careful not to let tradition be the judge. We should support one another through the repentance process, but if the Holy Spirit hasn't convicted a brother or sister to repent of something, then we shouldn't call them out on it.
