Outer Wilds (2019) Part 1: You Know When Your Life Flashes Before Your Eyes But It's Like Only Six Pictures?

Outer Wilds is an absolute joy of a game, capturing wonder and exploration and puzzles in a near-perfect little solar system. It's so good, that we're recommending you hold off on this episode (or at least all of the episode after about 20 minutes in) until you've started it. Not finished it, mind you - we haven't finished it either! (Except Gary, who doesn't count.) This episode is just part 1. In fact, the ideal way to consume both Outer Wilds and Infinite Cities might just be to play about 8-10 hours, then come listen to us, where you can sync up with our confusion across the bounds of time and space. From that cross-dimensional mind meld that is podcasting, you can go back out into the littlest solar system with a fresh perspective and a few new theories.
