Over The Culture: March 21st, 2021 (Who's The Shooter...)

Robert Aaron Long joins a long list of domestic terrorists, along with John Wilkes Booth, James Earl Ray, and Lee Harvey Oswald. On this day (3/21) in '80, the tv show Dallas airs the series finale episode "A House Divided."  Why do I care about these fictional white people in 80s Texas you may ask?? This episode set the precedent for series finale cliffhangers in general, and now it's become somewhat of a standard to end the season on the edge of a narrative.  Some of our favorite tv shows have adopted this model.  "Who Shot J.R.?" was a worldwide pop-cultural phenomenon, and should be celebrated as such.  Music "Thousand Ghosts (remix)" by Ryme Skeem.
