Overcoming Autism & Running Around the World

from The Kathryn Zox Show · host Kathryn Zox

Kathryn interviews autism advocate Krista Vance, author of "Meet Jamie Now: A Life Free of Autism". After leaving a charmed Hollywood life in hopes of starting a family, Vance undergoes in vitro fertilization and prematurely delivers twins, Jack and Jamie. By Jamie's nineteenth month, he no longer speaks and the light is gone from his eyes. The beautiful child everyone knew is lost in the world of autism. With her strength, love of family and never-failing optimism, Vance proves that almost anything is possible. Kathryn also interviews TV Comedy Writer Kristin Newman, author of "What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding". While her friends were getting married and having babies, Newman was running around the world, living an adventurous and romantic life, learning about the world and all its excitement and ultimately learning about herself. Newman has produced and written for several television hit comedies including, That 70's Show, How I Met Your Mother and The Neighbors.
