OVERCOMING THE FEAR OF DEATH- A Rational Approach- Kelvin Chin

from Grief 2 Growth · host Kelvin Chin

In this episode, Kelvin and I discuss his book "Overcoming the Fear of Death". It's an easy read. I finished it in a day. But, it is a systematic, rational approach to a common fear. Kelvin breaks down our beliefs on what happens after death into four main belief systems (not religious beliefs). From there, he explains how we can reduce or eliminate the fear of death from wherever we are today. Kelvin Chin is Executive Director & Founder of the “Turning Within” Meditation and Overcoming the Fear of Death Foundations. He is an internationally-recognized meditation teacher featured in Business Insider, Newsweek, Kaiser Health News, and has taught meditation at West Point and in the U.S. Army, including on the DMZ in Korea. Kelvin is also the author of the best-selling “Overcoming the Fear of Death: Through Each of the 4 Main Belief Systems” — a nonreligious approach to the 4 Beliefs that underlie all religious and cultural beliefs. He has had many experiences “piercing the veil” over the past 35 years communicating with the “other side,” and his past life memories reach back 6,000 years.Kelvin has been meditating for 50 years, and has taught it for 46 years to thousands from age 4-94 in over 30 countries. He regularly helps clients with PTSD, anxiety, depression and sleep disorders, especially those who have lost loved ones or had traumatic spiritual experiences. His technique is easy and effortless, with no cultural or lifestyle trappings. The technique offers a solution that helps people live their lives more fully now, giving them a sense of greater control to move forward.Kelvin can be reached at www.kelvinchin.org or at www.turningwithin.orgYou've been listening.
